Jet Grouting

Jet Grouting is the process of drilling a hole into the soil with a small diameter rod system.  Typically, a 70mm-130 mm diameter rod used to inject a fluid under high pressure while rotating and retrieving the rod.   Jet grouting differs from permeation grouting, in that permeation grouting adds minimal disturbance to the soil, whereas jet grouting, is reliant on the soil disturbance for a successful application.

Three Types of Jet Grouting

  • Single System- Grout injection at a high pressure.
  • Double System-Grout injection at a high pressure and air introduced at the nozzle.
  • Triple System- High pressure water, with air and a low pressure grout line.
